Dear Jacob,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and cheerful spirit. I am writing to personally invite you to a special event that is very dear to me—my birthday party!

Date when this anticipated celebration will take place is November 12, 2023. The venue for the celebration will be at my home at 45 Green Street, just a few houses down from where you live. The party will commence at 3:00 PM and carry on until 6:00 PM, allowing us ample time to enjoy various activities, games, and of course, some scrumptious cake!

Firstly, allow me to provide you with an overview of the fun-filled activities that I have planned for the day. One of the highlights will certainly be a treasure hunt in our backyard. You may remember that we recently read "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson in our literature class. Inspired by the thrilling adventures of Jim Hawkins, I have crafted a similar treasure hunt with a map, clues, and—naturally—hidden treasures. I believe it will be an exhilarating experience, and who knows? Maybe one of us will find a "treasure" that we can keep!

In addition to the treasure hunt, we will be organizing a quiz competition based on "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. As you know, we've both read and enjoyed the story of Harry, Ron, and Hermione's adventures at Hogwarts. The quiz will include questions related to their magical escapades, challenges, and friendships. Be sure to brush up on your Harry Potter knowledge!

For the main course, my mum has decided to prepare a variety of snacks and finger foods that we all cherish. Given our mutual love for pizza, there will be a homemade pizza station where we can create our own mini-pizzas with a variety of toppings to choose from. Remember the scene from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl, where they make all those delightful sweets? The pizza station will be just as magical with our creativity being the centerpiece.

To conclude the culinary delights, we have a splendid birthday cake shaped like a stack of beloved books, including "The Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S. Lewis, which we've both read and admired. There'll also be other sweet treats like cupcakes and cookies modeled after our favorite fictional characters.

After the meal and dessert, we'll settle down for a movie screening of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," adapted from the aforementioned series by C.S. Lewis. This movie is a beautiful representation of the allegorical journey described in the book, and we can compare it with the version we have in our imaginations from the text.

Of course, no birthday party is complete without party favors. To keep the literary theme alive, each guest will receive a small goody bag containing bookmarks, tiny book-themed trinkets, and a miniature edition of a famous classic novel.
